Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?
Diabolus - the Greek word is closer to "under the influence of the adversary".

And Jesus didn't know that was going to happen?
Yes, he knew. Yes, he allowed Judas to betray him.

So Jesus got crucified because he failed to santify someone?!
Jesus got crucified because he chose to be crucified. Jesus knew that he was going to die on the cross before the Incarnation even occurred.

What part of "I, your Lord and Master" do you not get? He washed the feet of his servants. Allowing the priest to wash your feet is submission to the authority of the priest.

No it isn't liar. Gee who would have thought that you would just start telling stupid ****ing lies.

Yes, he knew. Yes, he allowed Judas to betray him.
According to your theory he tried to sanctify him by washing his feet which would cause him not to betray Him.

No, it was Jesus proclaiming that He, and not Satan, was the master of Judas. And that while he would permit Judas to betray him - the true end of Christ would be fulfilled. He came to suffer and die on a cross.

I'm not saying that a priest shouldn't wash people's feet. Answer my queston now. What part of what Jesus said, don't you understand?

So washing people's feet doesn't really santify them. Thanks. I guess that will do.

According to the Gospel of Judas, Jesus knew Judas was going to betray him because that's what Jesus asked Judas to do. Just like how Adam and Eve were meant to fall so that mankind could be. It's all part of the plan. (I'm not sure what part of the plan leaving the Gospel of Judas out of the NT was meant for ... maybe to help Christians vilify Jews for centuries. Without which we may not have had the Crusades or the Holocaust or theological discussions between Ben and Kid? Which are of course important parts of the plan for ... um ... reasons we can't comprehend?)

The Gospel of Judas was left out of the NT because it is radically different from the other gospels, and it's basically a conspiracy theory. It's only as hard to comprehend as you make it.

I can see how supporters of one conspiracy theory would want to disallow competing conspiracy theories from being heard. I just don't understand why God would choose for His Church to adopt the conspiracy theory that helped feed into centuries of hatred and bloodshed.

I don't know either. I don't disbelieve the Gospel of Judas because it's a conspiracy theory, I believe in the other gospels because of what they say.

My pastor gave an excellent sermon today. I'll give you the short version. A missionary was serving in Africa and no one was attending his church. One day he looked outside his window and he was watching his son play with the other boys when his son fell and hit his head. He died. At the funeral the man tried to read from the scriptures but he couldn't. He and his wife just started crying. One of the villagers said, look he cries like us! From then on he didn't have trouble getting them to come to church.

                              I'm a different kinda weirdo.

This week's girlfriend is into kinky stuff... masochism. She's taking me to some sort of gathering. Should be interesting.

She's nice so far. Bipolar, so I'm sure she'll turn into a psycho beast at some point. But I'm looking forward to it while it lasts.

Also, she has massive boobs. Actually, the last three have.

She likes being photographed too. I won't be sharing. so **** YOU
