Read the Bible. Jesus knew Judas was going to betray Him. He said that he was a devil. What would be the purpose of washing his feet?
Yes, Jesus knew this. Yet he washed Judas' feet anyways. Why? To exercise his sovereignty over Satan. Jesus > Satan.

If you wash a devil's sins away he's still a devil.
Is anyone alive unredeemable? Or is God Sovereign?

It had nothing to do with their sin.
“Those who have had a bath need only to wash their feet; their whole body is clean. And you are clean, though not every one of you.”
Is Jesus talking about Physical cleaniness or Spiritual Cleaniness?

That's something that your church made up.
Nonsense. It's right there in the Bible.

Now it's no longer politically correct so your church is down playing it.
Hrm? Let me ask you a question. If it's just about washing people - why would it be politically incorrect to do it?

Is He the Lord of History or is Satan? Make up your mind.
Hrm? Satan is Lord of the World - but is history confined to the Earth?

I don't know what kind of Mennonite you were, probably a strange kind.
I was a happy one, yes. I left because I came to the understanding that there wasn't two 'churches', just as there isn't two 'brides'. There is just one Bride and one Christ and I believed his bride was the Church. The Catholic church. I also came to believe that it was important for Christians to be in visible unity with one another and that our visible disunity scandalises Christ. I don't have control over what others do - but I do have control over me. So I left and swum the Tiber.

I remained a Mennonite in good standing until I saw my pastor and told him that I was going to leave to become a Catholic. We had spoken earlier and he was very supportive.

Do you have to be a catholic priest or somebody like that to wash people's feet? I think only a catholic priest can give you think eucarist, right?
            Ok.

Second question - yes, you have to be a Catholic priest in order to perform the sacrifice of the mass. First question - yes, you have to be a Catholic priest in order to wash feet. These are not two separate functions - the holy thursday mass is just a different mass with different things that are done. One of the things that may be done during the mass is washing the feet of the congregants.

You tell me. Jesus said Judas was a devil. What did he mean if he wasn't being literal.
Is Jesus talking about Physical cleaniness or Spiritual Cleaniness?
Obviously physical cleaniness since their feet were dirty. Otherwise what was their sin? So catholics get their feet washed by the priest everytime they sin or do they confess?

Nonsense. It's right there in the Bible.
No it isn't dumb ****. It's what your church told you. Read the Bible again. It says they were physically dirty.
Hrm? Let me ask you a question. If it's just about washing people - why would it be politically incorrect to do it?
It's politically incorrect because it's wrong to assume that people are sinners because they are dirty or rather that clean people aren't sinners.

Hrm? Satan is Lord of the World - but is history confined to the Earth?
So Jesus isn't Lord of the history of the world?

Interesting. Do you claim that Jesus only gave that commandment to the disciples then? Why is that?

God doesn't force anyone to love him. If people want to betray him, he permits it.

That's a paraphrase of the Greek - which speaks of the Devil having crept into the heart of Judas Iscariot.

Obviously physical cleaniness since their feet were dirty.
Which is why the passage talks about Judas coming under the influence of the Devil? Hardly. Jesus is talking about Judas and his spiritual uncleaniness.

Otherwise what was their sin? So catholics get their feet washed by the priest everytime they sin or do they confess?
No, Maundy Thursday is special. Yes, Catholics are supposed to go to confession and to confess prior to mass.

For the same reason Jesus washed the feet of the disciples, and the disciples didn't wash each other's feet. Authority goes from Jesus -> Apostles -> Congregation. This is getting back to Jesus's admonition - that the greatest among you should be servant to all, and the principle of servant leadership.

WTF???? Judas betrayed Him. Were His powers a sanctification not working properly or something?

Wrong. "If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet." He told them to was one another's feet. He didn't do it to establish hierarchy. That's crazy. It's no wonder your church didn't let people read the Bible for so long.

Sancificiation is a purification of the will - if the will doesn't cooperate than sanctification won't improve someone's condition.

Yes, it did establish heirarchy. Christ -> Apostles -> Congregation.

This is why Jesus says, "I am your Lord".
