My assertion is that having just a mother is not an adequate substitute for having a father and mother in the home. Very few mothers make good fathers and visa versa.

Most folks on welfare + food stamps bennies do get more in bennies per month than I make at present. And yes, they tend to buy more expensive stuff. Live better? I dunno about that. They spend more certainly, but I don't think they get as much for it.
