My brain tells me it's okay to trust God, not ignorant humans with inherent limitations compared to his creator.
“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
- John 13:34-35 (NRSV)
Humans inspired by God, and their message approved by God through the Holy Spirit in the three fold canonization doctrine.
Exactly the kind of thing some devil would say.
Considering God made a universe where every human is less significant than a fly on ****, why would you trust anything another person had to say about God? Including that?
Also, what makes you think I only rely on man's message?
Because you are responding with the standard ****** talking points for why accepting another person's idea of God is okay.

False.
Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?

This is not what the Bible tells about man and God. I tend to trust God's word over humans. Especially humans who clearly have a frustration towards God. Pray to God, honestly pray. Don't rely on man's wisdom.

God's idea of God is what I go for. The Bible is handed down by God, and it is not merely dead words on paper.
Also, I clearly was not talking about the Bible in that sentence. While I don't hear a voice of God as spoken words, I have felt his presence, seen his glory, observed his work in me and others, experienced his answers in prayers, small and big. God is real, not for me and some few only, but for all. That you don't accept what nature, Bible and the whole of creation shows, are not a proof otherwise. I can only hope you'll see that one day.

holy circular logic batman!
this is like watching my cat chase his tail
My relationship with God is good, btw. Any frustration is at those who don't use the brain he gave them.
Worse than seeing someone use their cd drive as a cupholder
And the magnificence of God who created the Universe? I remember being an atheist and wondering why the night sky was so glorious. Perhaps one day I shall see it up close.

It's clear you don't get it at all. But that is not a surprise really, faith is not easy to understand for unbelievers. I still stand by what I said, if you were to pray and search God honestly, you will understand. But the Scripture is true in that regards, God's wisdom is folly for the world.

Unbeliever? You mean anyone who doesn't believe your poorly thought out notions about God? Bull**** is easy to spot.
I've already found God. I don't need to go look for him. If you need to find "God" because you don't have love in your heart, I'd suggest a therapist.
But the Scripture is true in that regards
The "scripture" is a bunch of fairy tales and nonsense written by people with no concept of indoor plumbing. You wouldn't trust someone from 2000 years ago to give you advice about anything else in your life today... but you're going to believe what they had to say about God?
For that, sir, you are a complete moron.
Being intelligent isn't incompatible with faith. In fact, it's necessary.
For the record, I can't tell you the answers because I don't have them. God wanted it that way. The only correct answer is "I don't know". All I can do is point out the wrong answers. If you lack the intelligence to figure out what's obviously false, I can't help you. The only thing I can do is point and laugh.
You surely have not found the God of Israel, that is for sure. Which is what I'm obviously referring to. Context, remember? You don't believe in God's revelation, then you per definition is an unbeliver in the God of Abraham, Isak and Israel. Which is your perrogative, but you shouldn't ridicule others who don't share your beliefs. I might be many things, but I know I am not a moron. You might be many things too, but I doubt you are more or less of a moron than me.

I'm looking for the God that made the universe... not some made up tribal hocus pocus. THANKS
you shouldn't ridicule others who don't share your beliefs
They don't need to share my beliefs because my only belief is that I don't know. I'm going to make fun of everyone else who insists on believe what its demonstrably false. I don't advocate marching into your village, making you dig your own graves and shooting you all... live and let live is my policy
