    Have you read the Bible?

    • I read the bible, probably know it a lot better than most. From it I know that just before Christ ascended into heaven he didn't turn to his followers and say "hey, read this book, it has all my instructions in it"

I'm quite sure he would have if we had been around then, especially my posts

A better verse for that would be what Jesus says in Matthew 5.17: "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil."

The law and the prophets is the same as the OT.

Every mass during communion the priest says something along the line of "this is my body, broken as a token of the new everlasting bond" (I translated it literally from Dutch - don't know the English version of it)... I am sure this is pretty clear as to what he thought of the old testament... the newt testament supersedes it.

                • Normal christian theology is that the NT fullfills and adds on the OT, not that it invalidates it.

That's pretty ridiculous, we have incredibly primitive tools to see planets at such vast distances. The idea that they don't exist though is pretty dumb. There is no reason to think that Earth is even vaguely special.

Has someone been beating you around the head with a stupid stick recently? Your reasoning is nonsensical. We know next to nothing about the trillions of other planets in the universe, yet you sit there telling us that earth is unique because it took time for complex life to evolve?

There could be other planets with singlecell organisms and no complex life forms at all, and there will never be any complex life forms on that planet. Or there could be life forms that have evolved but there has not been any evolution into intelligent life, nor will there ever be.
It's actually getting embarrasing how little you seem to understand the theory of evolution. I get that it can be tricky to wrap your head around, but please try harder.

True. The Old Testament is not cast into the sea (a la the heresy known as Marcionism), but is fulfilled by the coming of Jesus, who answers all the prophecies - God coming to rule His people, the Messiah, the suffering servant, etc. The Law, yes, was more of a signpost for the Kingdom of Heaven which was superseded by the teachings of Jesus, but one cannot understand fully the New Testament without the Old.

Until 1995, we didn't even know there were exoplanets. The first 15 years of exoplanetary discovery were limited to gas giants, then to super-earths (7-10 times earth mass). Now we have three near-earth planets. Similar mass and orbit in the habitable zone.

For 3.5 billion years life existed on this planet that did not even evolve into complex species. Something happened on earth that is unique to earth. You're the psuedoscientist.
Nice non-sequitur. The specific details of getting exactly the same critters at the same time are unique. There is no evidence that the process is unique and no reason, based on the chemistry involved, that it should be. The reason it took 3.5+ billion years to go from likely first life to complex organisms is simple. Atmospheric oxygen.

Stick with history as the subject you don't know.

Are bears hominidae? Are humans ursidae? Bears and humans aren't even taxonomically linked except as placentalians. Ursines are also members of the order carnivora. Gee, wonder what that word means?

Look at the comparitive dentition and GI tracts. If you really want to get into beat a dead bear and barbecue it country, you can get down to the cellular and molecular level and look at a wealth of differences in GI related endocrine and exocrine functions, vitamin and amino synthesis, relative production of digestive enzymes and peptide hormones, etc. etc. etc.

But we know you won't do that, because you're just an oppositional knee-jerk troll, in addition to being a socially maladjusted ignoramus.
