If I had the slightest interest in sharing personal details on a public forum, I'd have done it last time you tried to claim that a batchelors made you a qualified historian. Perhaps if you spent a little more time learning and a little less trying to shape history to your existing beliefs, you wouldn't come across as so intellectually dishonest.

Ben you are an absolute disgrace to the teaching of history, and the idea of you calling literally anyone unqualified to discuss it is frankly ludicrous. You twist historical events to fit your own private biases and beliefs, you deliberately lie about events you know damn well to be true if they contradict your narrative, and you draw wild and ridiculous conclusions at will.

Incidentally getting a degree in history doesn't make you an expert on the subject. Get a doctorate in history and undergo some peer review and you might have something to brag about.

It confuses me why he repeatedly does this stuff. I'm pretty sure that last time I checked a history degree isn't supposed to make you an expert on every event in human history, yet regardless of the timeframe or subject matter he can't help but leap in with his 'I've got a batchelors, I am the expert!' line. He made a total **** of himself with his basic Tudor history mistakes a while back, you'd think he'd have learned by now.

Those weren't mistakes. You just couldn't deal with "proven" facts, so you had to make up a bunch of lies because you're unqualified.

To be fair, I've heard that confusion/obfuscation/whatever it is from other Americans. I've heard more than a few people (and seen it on resumes, ) misuse the word and assume it's synonymous with graduation. A couple of times it was engineers (whose credentials were verified) who were an interesting combination of bombastic and quasiliterate. Apparently they thought they were clever misusing a fancy word they thought nobody would know.
