I kid, of course... because you are generally all right (not that my opinion should matter to you). However, if I may offer some feedback... I notice you sometimes have issues sorting through more nuanced statements... and draw inferences beyond what would be considered reasonable.

It depends on the stage of development of the fetus. If you're talking embryo, which is the actual case, no issue at all. You're dealing with a tissue mass with no sentience whatsover.

Its meaning is perfectly clear. It is mythology written by men, for men (because women were so much property) with no understanding of science, biology or medicine. Or naval architecture or logistics or much of anything else. The vocabulary for those concepts didn't even exist. So pardon me if I think it has as much appicability to the real world, as, say, a Danielle Steele novel. Oh, and this is the same book that refers to talking snakes and women being made out of a guy's rib? God could create the whole universe from nothing, but when he decided to make a woman, he needed to borrow the guy's rib? Oh, and he didn't want them to have sex (tree of knowledge and all that), but he made them with sex organs? Earth standing still, parting of the red sea, Lot's wife, Jonah and the whale and all that, plus 500 year lifespans, and I'm supposed to take any of that literally? Let alone use it as justification to shove my world view down anyone's throat by force of law?
