        I think it's awesome.

I think they should publish names, addresses, photos, and which guns they own.

Keep using all of the freedoms to their extreme, it's what America is all about. Only then will it sink in that all freedoms should have limitations.

Unless you're a hunter, multiple gun owners are creeps. They're compensating for something. There's something mentally unwell about a person who feels the need to own more than one gun.

Different guns serve different purposes. You couldn't go hunting with my 10/22 but it's great for cheap target practice off-season. Or if you have a handgun for self defense, perhaps because you live in a ****ty part of New Orleans or something, then you might want a .22 handgun for target practice (again, because the ammo is cheap). I have both a rifle and a shotgun, because they are used for completely different target shooting disciplines (sporting clays versus paper targets).

Collectors might have dozens of guns. Suppose you were assembling a collection of all the different service rifles used in World War II by major powers? You'd have a K98k, a Carcano, a Mosin, an Arisaka, a Garand, an Enfield, and a bunch of other stuff.

Wouldn't publishing their names and addresses (and other contact info, I hope) allow their neighbours and co-wrkers to know where the nearest Hero can be found at short notice? If a suspicious person is spotted, say going to a Batman movie dresses as Batman, shouldn't the non-gun owner be able to contact a Citizen Hero to assuage their fears? Or are you guys like Batman... the non crazy kind, obviously... and need your anonymity to protect you from the wrath non-gun wielding villians?

Then you're an idiot. The risk is negligible. It's orders of magnitude less risky than having a backyard pool.

Uncle Sparky, your posts are almost as humorous as the Armenian Genocide.

This is actually a true statement, readily proved out by a quick look at insurance tables.

Armenian genocide? You mean the relocation and arrest of pro-Russian Armenian dissidents?

So I can know if the next door neighbor's son might shoot up the local school?
