I don't disagree. But once again, Romney might well have had a genuine point to pursue but was totally unable to do so coherently or effectively.

He really is a weak candidate from that point of view.

You know what the first debate showed? It showed that being a mouthy ***** is enough to win over a large proportion of the US public, who went from thinking the election was over to suddenly seeing Romney as a genuine candidate because his lies were delivered with confidence. You get the politicians you deserve.

I think it's pretty plain that we don't build military policy around bayonettes because we have more efficient tools at our disposal.
