If Obama wanted to push the narrative that the Libya thing was a criminal act by a bunch of disorganized protesters upset by a stupid video, as his administration did for about a month, he probably wouldn't refer to it as terrorism. It's unbelievable to me Romney managed to botch this point, and also that the morbidly obese Candy Crowley didn't let Romney respond after her comment.

b) Re this incident in particular: The episode from start to finish is an example of incompetence at multiple levels of the Administration.

Why feel the need for specificity of this particular incident?

I have yet to see this administration respond to a fluid situation without it being a keystone cops affair. Be it:

1) BP gulf spill crisis management
2) Insertion into Gates arrest matter
3) How not to answer the details of Osama Bin Laden raid
4) Fast and Furious
5) Dithering ala Libya intervention and subsequent leading from behind
6) etc. etc.


I suppose given Biden is part of the administration, any level of competence short of actually drooling and farting onstage is an accomplishment.
