  • So where's the Presidential Debate Thread?

I'm watching the Tigers game, but I was going to rely on you miscreants, ne'er-do-wells, and jackaknapes to give completely partisan distorted reactions to the Debate, so I could figure out what was going on by assuming the exact opposite of what you said.

    I am very disappointed.

Whoever is declared the winner, it won't have anything to do with what was actually said during the debate.

There seemed to be a lot of "undecided" democrats in the audience asking questions. I mean, gun control, for instance. That's not actually a serious issue anymore except to a handful of liberals in the northeast and the west coast. And I guess Chicago.

I didn't watch the whole thing though. I liked the response with fast & furious though that is something that only right wing shills trot out, not something people seriously care about.

See? That's what I'm talking about.

Translation: the audience liked Obama better. Reg knows what I'm looking for. Gramercy, my good man.

Not a serious issue... except in the northeast... and the debate was held in New York....

Romney was a bit of a jackass to the moderator. He was petty on a lot of points and got burned badly for one. He stayed on topic a bit more than the first debate, but that's in part to the moderator forcing him to.

Obama started off sluggish but gained momentum as the debate went on. He was much more respectful to the moderator. He also taught Romney an important lesson in debates. Don't ask your opponent questions during your time!!! They will own you!

Had this been the first debate the election would be over.

Also, Romney agrees with a hell of a lot of Obama's policies. I was waiting for Obama to respond in several moment with "I'm glad Candidate Romney likes my policies. I like them too. That's why we're running on them."

I dunno if the audience liked Obama better but the people asking the questions (THAT I SAW) seemed to hand Obama some layups. Although Obama's response wasn't that great to that question because he can't really come out in favor of more gun control if he wants to win Ohio or Virginia. So it's a wash. Again, I didn't see the whole debate. I have no idea who won.

This definitely seemed the case. Obama got more applause during the debate than Romney which made me wonder how undecided these people really were.

It's a serious state issue here because of those NYC jackoffs. Gun control is not a winning issue in Monroe County.

They're on Long Island. Republicans are probably a bit hard to find.

Who were all those guys in suits and ties near Romney? An entire rafter of them.

Obama opened his maw and the many tentacled Beast of Yiggid-Ok emerged from within. Afterwards, crepes were served.
