I made that argument originally. You just don't want to concede this as it devastates your case.

You are still missing the difference between a metric, and what you are trying to judge with the metric.

I stated before - one of the reasons why so many Muslims choose to live in Israel is because they are economically better - present day, to other muslim countries with fewer economic opportunities. Now, if you've got an argument against me - you're going to have to address the point I made, not the point you prefer I made.

That was not the metric you used. It is the reasoning behind your choosing of the metric of population.

It is also not sufficient to explain the vast array of reasons for the phenomenon you've chosen as your metric.

And that is the point I am trying to drive home. Go back, read through. Did I ever say, "all Muslims believe X?" "muslims only believe X"? I did not.

You chose a metric (population) and ascribed it to be representative of only the Muslims desire to get at the Jewish wealth. You are a liar.

The reason being is because I know they are not a monolith. However, while there are still rockets dropping every day on the people of Israel - these barbarians need to be dealt with. Would you tolerate it if people were doing that to you and your house and your family and you were told by people who never lived in your situation - that they agreed with the people lobbing rockets into you and your family? I strongly suspect that your first response would be to protect them. You have the right to live in peace and in security - and so do the Jewish people in Israel.

Well - I'm a mutt. I've got Canadian ancestors going back to about 1750 or so. I've got German ancestry (from former east prussia), now Warmia-Mazuria, about 100 miles north of Warsaw in former Ortelsburg, East Prussia. I've got English ancestry, from Manchester, I've got Anglo-Irish ancestry from Dublin, and English ancestry from Midlothian in Temple parish. I've got Norwegian ancestry from Bergen area and Danish ancestry from Viborg. I am not, to my knowledge, Scottish or Polish, or Gaelic.

I bet a few polytubbies know where these areas are.

I want American citizenship, because I am happier in America than I ever was in Canada. It's a wonderful country. I enjoy the work that I do, and my friends. I believe I am more accepted here than I ever was in Canada, even though I have not been here nearly as long. Almost all of the happiest days of my life have been down here in Texas.

I want to serve America the rest of my life and having citizenship will enable me to do more for that goal than I can at present.

Aeson - I nearly did what you ended up doing with Lancer et al. I was unhappy in Canada even before my first visit to America. I see in you - what my path might have been had I chosen to do things differently.
