There are plenty of folks who are part of the republican party's base who don't pay taxes and who don't collect benefits.
Now I understand if Romney's mission is to antagonize the Republican base, but why phrase this comment in that way?
It's not about how much taxes you are or are not paying, it's about the benefits. Why he didn't say that he felt that benefits were too generous and that many people who work for a living make less than they could make on benefits - THAT would resonate with a ton of Americans and still get the same point across.Scouse Git (2) La Fayette Adam Smith Solomwi and Loinburger will not be forgotten.
