Harvesting human remains for their organs is wrong. You don't dig up graves (I hope), in order for research purposes.

HC's argument was that "we aren't going to be using them, so it's ok to kill them and use their tissues for embryonic stem cells". This amounts to saying that just because we don't think of them as people, it's ok to kill them and use them for medical research.

That's exactly what does happen in embryonic stem cell research. You are taking viable embryos and killing them.

Abortion is just one source of them - it's still wrong either way.
