They have very serious side effects, and yes for many women it is a concern that really isn't getting addressed these days. Hormonal contraception isn't a wonder drug - you are putting some very strong drugs in your body longterm.
That's why I think the only good contraceptive is an abortion.

Yeah, the only downside to vasectomies is that I hear they're very unpleasant. But I also read somewhere that somebody's working on an alternative, where they line the vas deferens with some kind of spermicide. Supposedly it lasts for ten years and is actually 100% effective in preliminary trials.
It was no more unpleasant than laser eye surgery and it was better than some dental work I have had done.
The key is to do NOTHING afterward for 2-3 days. So I had a movie and 24 marathon with some surfing of the net while ALL my favorite meals appeared. IIRC I played hockey about a week afterward

Well, how did Mrs. Flubber feel when she was off the pill? I guess that's my question. I've heard that the sex is better, but like I said earlier, I only have the experience of friends who have stated that. I'm not necessarily (or even care all that much) about the guy part of it. More interested in what it's like for the ladies.
To answer more fully the question that everyone finds creepy. Its impossible to say and I think for your friends its much the same. There are so many relationship effects and events that can change your sexual relationship. ITs impossible to say what caused what ===Some typical ones
1. Sex in the early exploration stage is often fantastic.
2. Conversely others find it gets better as they get to know each other better as they learn what each other likes
3. A woman going on or off the pill may be a minor step for some but a huge one for others
---- going on the pill because you are ditching the condoms as your relationship is monogomous
--- conversely-- going off the pill because you want a baby
4. Hell a partner reading a book and bringing some new stuff into the repertoire can make it better
The reasons matter
While stranger sex can be really good, I dofind sex with someone with whom you have a real connection is the best sex.
That said I also observe
A. Condomless sex usally feels better for the guy -- BUt some protected sex is better than some condomless sex-- the lack of the condom does not necessarily make it better
B Pregnancy sex is some of the best . Its probably not allowed for Catholics in the Benaverse since once she is already pregnant there can be no conception but man I think its hormonal or something but wowsers
