whether that is few depends on how many instances occurred. The law prof who did the study said they were all prosecuted. Do you have some other source regarding unprosecuted honor killings.

A murder is a murder and IMHO the crown will prosecute anyone if they get the eveidence to do so

Sorry-- I have 2 children and a vasectomy. My wife and I are not stopping having sex because procreation is off the table and it does make us very happy.

Oh and I would wager that a sizeable majority of North American Catholics practice some form of birth control. I see almost no one with 8 , 10 or 12 children these days and that would be the result for some couples.

Hell we conceived in the first or second month every time we tried. WE could easily have had 6-8 children by now. (yikes)

Just FYI, there is research suggesting that fertile women are more attractive than infertile ones--there was a study of strippers that found they made the most tips when they were ovulating, while women on the pill made about as much on average as ones who were close to menstruation. And I understand women are just randier that time of month anyway. None of which has anything to do with BK's argument, but I thought I'd throw it out there.
