Nobody got that joke, AFAICT. The way you phrased it, it wasn't clear at all that you knew there were no Danish Alps. When I think of Denmark, I think Hamlet, blue cheese from Trader Joe's, Andersen's morbid fairy tales, that oft-quoted statistic that it's full of atheists...eventually I work my way down to remembering that some faction in Beowulf was Danish (Hrothgar's?) and IIRC they control the strait between them and Norway.
