Out of curiousity, BK how much the you think, care, keep up with the Tevatron before it got shutdown and became something you could blame on President Obama?
Question for you, which do you think I've cared about longer - moonbases or Christianity?

It could be fun to hear BK telling about all those splendid scientific endavours that Bushy was the great mind behind. Just one thing - introducing ID and like in public and higher educations doesn't count.
Let's start with Obama. Plenty of space missions took place under Bush Jr, Cassini being the big one.

Sure, wich he had no responsibility for - they were planned way before he even was a president candidate.

Edit: Please tell about those that Bush have started, not those that matured during his time.

Don't try to evade the question - you claim that Bush was far better, so please tell what he did.

Why would anybody care about moon bases?

I did, and I stated Cassini.

                Answer the question, Black Cat.

That's a good question, I guess. We don't have any moon bases, nor will we have any in the near future. and Christianity has nothing to do with my question. But the answer to your question about yourself is that you have cared about the nonexistent moonbases longer than you have cared about your version of Christianity. Now that I have told you about you, can you answer my question about you?

I dunno, blow lots of taxpayer money that could have gone into education or infrastructure or could have been given back the public?

I assume that you are reffering to this - that is hardly something that Bush can claim as some of his accoplishments.

                        Now, please answer my question,

Considering how inane you guys are at spending money on public welfare, I bet that they are used better on moonbases

                            That's a good question, I guess.
I was in Astrophysics when I first went to UBC. You don't get that far along the process without having spent your entire childhood looking up at the stars and wondering what might be out there.

I wanted to be one of the astronauts, but when I came to understand my hearing and vision would never have permitted me to go, I decided I would be an astrophysicist instead.

I did science fair projects every year and my favourite one was the one of Neptune. I got to show off all the new voyager discoveries. I thought that was the coolest thing, and even now, 20 years later, we haven't done anything comparable. I was one of those kids that loved his subscription of the Planetary Society, used to go out to star parties and helped build the observatory that's 15 minutes from where I grew up.

That is why I asked the question. My time on Apolyton is only a part of my overall life, and the impression you draw from me here is far from what I am. It would do you well to remember this, when asking a question like this.

You have a passion and for a long time, space was my passion too. One of the best parts of coming to TX was getting to see Scorpius as it was meant to be seen. Just gobsmacked me then, and gobsmacks me now. This winter I got to see Canopus for the first time which was on my bucket list.

I already answered your question. You just didn't like the answer.

Answer my question. What space missions has Obama planned?

Moonbases might be better than bombing people, but I think that's about it.
