I could get higher in Manhattan, which would offset the higher cost of living. But then I'd live in a ****ing shoebox in Manhattan. And why?
NYC was fun to visit a couple (dozen) times but I've no interest in ever living there. And it has actively been an option for years. Too busy, the people are *******s (and not the good kind), the traffic is awful, etc."The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."

Another thing to keep in mind is the salaries in Calgary are actually very, very good. Especially relative to the cost of living. The massive energy industry here overpays for everything, which drives the cost up for every other sector. I don't even work in energy, but my salary is much higher than what I'd get in Toronto (with a higher cost of living) because the energy companies are always trying to hire people, too."The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. You're an idiot, for what it's worth. The reason no one else corrected me is because they probably googled it and realized I was correct.
Even taking into account New York County:

I suppose you have your own definition of "six figures". Most people do not include pennies in their definition.
I swear, I'm increasingly convinced that actuaries are completely incapable of reasonable analysis and show zero initiative..."You're the biggest user of hindsight that I've ever known. The top 100 counties across the country had an average per capita income of $58,691, according to estimates released by the Bureau of Economic Analysis last month. Aristide Economoupolos/The Star-LederTyler Munoz, 5, jumps the tracks as his mother Mary watches...
Actual recent data, which does have NY County (Manhattan) into the six figures.
There are enough different ways of measuring per capita income that I don't trust any comparison to be apples to apples, but you keep crowing about citing things based on 11-year-old census data with the average American earning around $25,000, which hasn't been true in over a decade."You're the biggest user of hindsight that I've ever known. If you are trying to make a real point, you would correct what you find to be incorrect. You've done nothing but post an incorrect response in reply (as I did not use 2011 numbers for Calgary)."The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. My point is pretty simple, and there's ample support for it."You're the biggest user of hindsight that I've ever known. Your favorite team, in any sport, is the one that just won. If you were a woman, you'd likely be a slut." - Slowwhand, to Imran

Yes, there is no absolute comparison one can make. All one has to do on an internet forum is google the numbers you can find and watch morons freak the **** out."The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."

No, I think you're a moron. You actually believed that the average person in Manhattan lives on $42,000, which is less than the GDP per capita of the United States."You're the biggest user of hindsight that I've ever known. In summary, San Diego is ghetto and earns less than Calgary and Jaguar feels threatened."The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."

I think you're a moron. Jesus ****ing christ. Look how this conversation got started with shots at Oerdin and SAN DIEGO.
You guys are tools, honestly. Socially oblivious tools. At least Drake and KH have enough social intelligence to recognize what the **** was happening.
Back to the spreadsheets, boys.
