I guess Canadians simply don't know how to heat a house. Double glazed windows, insulated reinforced concreted walls, central heating. Easy as pie.

@op, who gives a **** about cursive? Other than my signature I haven't used it since I was 16.

I wouldn't even have used it that long if I'd had a word processor. Notes were always taken in chicken scratch printing. Cursive writing is as useless as filosofy.

Those than have grown up will computers will not understand. And I don't blame them or will I hold it against them. Maybe it should be optional. Regardless of what everyone says, I still use it for note taking in meetings because it's faster. The one thing that I've only seen mentioned a couple of times is it's potential beauty. I've never seen a written poem that was printed. Cursive can inspire the spirit. I knew people that after mastering cursive fell in love with language and made it their life's work. I will feel sad when it passes but must agree that it's usefulness is diminishing.
