Arab-East African trade relations weren't exclusively centered on the slave trade, unlike Portuguese/Dutch-West African relations.

In fact the slave trade was extremely profitable for several African kingdoms because European hardly ever actually went into the interior to catch slaves themselves and instead Africans warred with other Africans, took slaves, and then traded those slaves for European manufactured goods. The same dynamic was often at work with Islamic nation vs non Islamic African nations.

I already explained to you the relevant difference between Christianity and Islam that colored Malcolm X's conversion to, initially, a false version of Islam, and then to Sunnah. Does your brain not work properly and you somehow missed it though I said it repeatedly?

I'm trying to hold DF accountable for his claim about what those taxes were used for. He seems to have just pulled that assertion of his out of his ass. Taxes can be used for other things besides helping the impoverished.
