  • Christianity does not, in fact, connect you to God

Seeing as Gribbler wishes to spar some more, let's take on his question.

Gribbler asserted in the other thread, that Christianity does not, in fact, connect you to God.

    I'll take the other side.

Gribbler's argument amounts to this. If he can prove that I am false to Christ that Christianity has failed, because of the following premisses.

1, nobody is more Christian than Ben.
    2. Ben perfectly follows Christ
    3. Christianity has no concept of free will, Christians who are true Christians cannot deviate from his will.

    Have at it.

Doesn't make sense - are you drunk ?
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

Then why make the overbroad argument that because you think I'm a terrible person that Christianity does not connect you to God?

The world doesn't revolve around you. There are plenty of Christians who are animals just like you. Plenty of evidence that Christianity is a failure.

                          Lori, geez.

Three already deals with Gribbler and his argument. If Christianity teaches that Christians have free will, then they can and will still sin even after turning to Christ.

The point is that to prove Christianity false, you have to look at Christ.

The point is not that you aren't perfect. The point is that you are not influenced by anything divine in any way. You are an evil monster who delights in the suffering of other people and wanted Al to be physically abused after he got upset about David calling him a sand ******.
