I wasn't the only person she sent nude photos to. She fancies herself a model and can be pretty vain at times. It is possible that her explanation is genuine, but most people don't seem to think so.

And here she argues that she is essentially doomed to such a death. Depression is actually painful, and really bad depression is really painful. Additionally, there currently aren't very good treatment options for people with chronic depression. Her belief is that, if she is allowed to live, she'll rot away in a mental facility or her father's house doing nothing with her life until she dies of old age. She has no particular desire to do that.

I don't agree with this line of logic, btw, but I can understand it.

I think you have better taste than to lust after a girl that dumb. But just to get things in the open, tell her what you really do with them. Tell her how you sit alone in a darkened room with your computer set to a slideshow view. Tell her about the soft music in the background. Tell her about being able to almost smell her while you flit back and forth between the real photos and imagined scenes where her ankles are somehow locked behind her ears as she screams your name and her eyes roll around unfocussed, unthinking, uncaring, lost in a sea of sensation. Tell her about finding that one perfect photo you pause on and crest to, and then tell her about being left alone at the end of it with a hand full of goo and a head full of shame and sadness.

By the way you shouldn't be so taken aback by suggestions that she's a compulsive liar. Lying is very easy to rationalize, especially if you're an intelligent person. I know for a fact that she would never ask me for money and would probably not even let me give her money.



She contends not that she is playing any card but that she has rationally decided suicide is the best, or possibly only, option for her.

No. I didn't believe it was inappropriate. In the aftermath of the whole debacle, I told her sending me more would be a bad idea, and she agreed.

Oh, I'm not taken aback. And I've done plenty of scrutinizing in this area. I only claim that I know her better than some random people on the internet who only ever hear the bad things about her.
