Actually, I converted to the Catholic church. So yeah, I did grow up look back and realize that being an atheist globalist was rather silly.

Right, as if it didn't serve the desires of the Protestant UK to divide Catholic Ireland to preserve an outpost of Protestants. But sure, they did it to protect the Irish Catholics.

Again, we've not seen terrorism elsewhere in Ireland where there is a Catholic majority, even in areas with significant protestant minorities, such as in the pale.

It's only in Northern Ireland, where you have a significant Catholic minority ruled by the UK, that you see violence. Looking from the outside in, it would seem to me that while Catholics as a majority tolerate and assimilate protestants, the converse is not true.
