Ignatieff, I suspect. As well as the lack of a real differentiation between themselves and the Tories.

They campaigned too far left and Ignatieff blew a couple of things (the coalition issue and the ridiculous ravings of 'rise up', Syria, etc). Iggy scared the **** out of soccer moms in Southern Ontario.

On the bright side for me as a pro-democracy type, when the dust settles, I suspect the total voter turnout will be about 70% - this is good.

They just announced on the channel I am on that it is (estimated) closer to 56%, even lower than last time, and last time was a record low IIRC.
