What can I say ? I'm a nice person and don't hurt animals unnesecary, but you are rigth, I should be a bit thougher. In my defense, I will claim that I have done my best to tell dfg that he is an idiot.Originally posted by The Mad Monk View PostWhy do you bother? For those interested
I found a interesting research study .
In 1997 Brook Haven National Laboratory did a study on spent nuclear fuel pool burning. They concluded that a massive calamity at one spent-fuel pool could ultimately lead to 138,000 deaths and contaminate 2,000 sq. mi. (5,200 sq km) of land - government officials insist a worst-case scenario is incredibly unlikely, even in the course of extreme events.
I was not able to find the stats on the quantity of fuel used for this study.
As we know now this worst case scenario may be happening in Japan.
