No... the teacher's unions are being used to protect them from exploitation. I just want the government to back down in its efforts to destroy them.

The teachers union has been extremely reasonable as they already agreed to the unpaid furlows, the pay cuts, and the cuts to their health insurance and the only thing they asked for in return is that the state government not try to strip them of their right to collectively bargain. It seems the governor is deliberately just trying to break the union and only those unions which didn't donate to his campaign because he exempted the police union which costs the state more then the teachers union; of course the police union supported the governor in the last election so they get a free pass. Let's just be honest and admit this isn't about the state budget and instead it is about one party trying to destroy groups which support the other party. It's nothing but partisan hackery.

If the Wisconsin public thinks the Republicans are going too far, then I don't see how this will hurt the Democrats politically.
