My 9mm with a non-extended magazine holds 15+1 rounds, my .45 ACP holds 8+1 rounds.
Guess which one I take with me to investigate a bump in the night. No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

I woke up this morning thinking I have to get some .303 ammo for my Lee Enfield. The problem is that I dont own a Lee Enfield! Weird! We need seperate human-only games for MP/PBEM that dont include the over-simplifications required to have a good AI

Doc: not as big as a .45, 9mm is tiny in comparison.

Hmm. Interesting.
I can see a use for them in hunting but do you really find it useful to keep them on your nightstand? What kind of society do you live in?!"I have never killed a man, but I have read many obituaries with great pleasure." - Clarence Darrow

Gunfire is deafening. You should always wear hearing protection.
Hearing protection is also deafening, in that you can't really hear anything while wearing it. This is a Bad Thing if someone has broken into your home.
Game Ears solves the second problem nicely.
If I think it's worthwhile to keep a $500 pistol in my nightstand, it follows that it is equally worthwhile to have $100 Game Ears on my nightstand. No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.
