And your posts would seem to suggest that you're doing more confirming than testing. You're never surprised by what those crazy atheists (or, previously, capitalists) post. All the responses you receive only ever seem to reinforce your notions. And your replies are always along the lines of, "See, you booboo head atheist/capitalist, I knew you would say that. Because you're all the same and my psychology expertise tells me that I can paint people I hardly know with broad strokes and that random conclusions to complex problems never need reexamining and are always true."

To support Elok in his statement that Paul adapted his sermons to his audience:

1 Corinthians 9 (NIV 2010)
"21 To those not having the law I became like one not having the law."

I believe that he's saying that a Christian should not offend non-believers by following God's law. There's another verse where he gives a specific example but I can't think of it off the top of my head. But I'll look for it, because I think this teaching should only have certain applications.

Let's try a new angle. For the sake of this argument, how are you defining "moral" behavior? It can't be perfectly moral behavior, because no human being but Christ ever achieved that. How--in terms of actions, not motivations--is your typical Christian moral while your typical atheist is not? Giving to charity? Refraining from theft? Not swearing a lot?

I meant it in the context of forgiveness of sins. There's a difference between being given additional time to repent and not repenting.

It is by their motivation that their actions are moral. So in every action a more motivated person will refrain from sin. The person who humbles himself (considers others before himself) is more moral. That is how I'm defining "moral."

"Think of others" is not the same as putting others before yourself. Again, can an atheist act in a way that is not natural human behaviour? Not that I know of. In fact, it's my experience that they believe that it's good to just be natural.
