I consider atheists stupid, as well as theists stupid, because we cannot know for sure either way. People who claim to know are mentally ill and delusional, which is unfortunately socially acceptable.

Athiests don't say they know for sure. They weigh the evidence. That's what you claim to do, weigh the evidence. That's what being reasonable means. Yet you say that you don't know while all the time pretending that you do know (that God doesn't exist). If you really didn't know (and you would be a moron) whether God exists or not, you wouldn't be insisting that people who think he exists are stupid.

I don't believe anything to be true. I have varying degrees of trust in particular ideas based on my own deductive reasoning and the deductive reasoning of sources I trust.

I'm not simply saying that gut feelings can be wrong. I'm saying that gut feelings strongly correlate with one's surroundings. That's why people in Pakistan have completely different gut feelings. There is very little correlation, if any, between what someone's gut feelings are and what the truth is. As far as truth is concerned, gut feelings are pretty much irrelevant.

Well I know this from experience, that if you tell the police that you have a gut feeling about something they will often hear you out, that's because as much as they are trained to be rational they know that gut feelings are sometimes true, not because of people's surroundings, but just because.

This is the point. There is no proof either way. No one is saying there is. Agnostics are the only ones who are stupid enough to say that since there is no proof we can't know.
