I earned a 92 on my physics exam. Nothing you say can or will change what I worked very hard to earn.

Yes, I had difficulty with honours physics and astronomy at UBC. I had difficulty with my math courses. I I always had As in my physics classes all the way through the program.
I have to wonder what that physics exam looked like if these questions are too hard for him. And it's a lack of understanding of the concepts that's making him get these wrong. There's no complex math.

People who aren't citizens not being franchised is fine, isn't it? No problems there. Though relaxing our citizenship process might not be so bad.

1, that doesn't mean that their opinions and rights do not matter with regards to public policy, which is what you seemed to indicate by stating that non-voters do not matter.

2, to use your home state as an example:
Right now in Virginia, approximately 300,000 people with past felony convictions who have finished their sentences — meaning they are not in prison and are not on probation or parole — are barred from voting for life because they have past felony convictions. Only one other state (Kentucky) has such a punitive disfranchisement policy; all other states have apparently realized that barring so many people from voting is just plain un-American.

Among these 300,000 disfranchised Virginians are people like Frank Anderson, whose story was reported recently in the Richmond Times-Dispatch. Anderson volunteered for Gov. Kaine's gubernatorial campaign, but when he applied for the restoration of his voting rights, his application was denied because he had several speeding tickets. You see, to get your voting rights back in Virginia, you have to submit an individual application to the governor and can have "no convictions for violations of the law." Apparently, "this includes moving violations, such as speeding." If we kept everyone with a speeding ticket from voting, our voting booths would be perpetually empty.
check out Mississippi's requirement for a freed convicted felon to regain the franchise:

To regain the ability to vote, an individual, after completion of his/her sentence, must go to his/her state representative and convince them to personally author a bill reenfranchising that individual. Both houses of the legislature must then pass the bill. Re-enfranchisement can also be granted directly by the governor.
What do you suppose the chances of that happening are?

            • Probably not, I honestly haven't checked. If it were fixed, the problem is super ****ing trivial and I don't care. You didn't answer THE PROBLEM correctly.

THIS IS ANOTHER CASE OF BEN MOVING THE GOALPOSTS, GUYS. God, you're ****ing addicted to it.

It's been ten years Albert. The pendulum stuff I remember just fine.

This is a swing set. It will oscillate with the period of the pendulum, bouncing up and down.

It will also sway from side to side.

The velocity of the box should be the same as the tangential velocity in the opposite direction.

                            Wow. Ok.

So you don't even recognise the equations for a simple pendulum?

Anyways, I think I've got it. The pendulum velocity and the rest of it should stay the same.

But why do this? After someone gets out of prison, rejoins society and starts paying taxes, don't they deserve to have some input on how taxes are spent?
