You're kinda making a mountain out of a moehill. She didn't say it was God's plan for a child to get raped, and in fact free will doctrine includes the possibility of things happening contrary to God's will.

What she said was that in her opinion, abortion in the case of rape/incest was not OK, because God could turn the result into a positive. An abortion doesn't erase a rape, after all.

With that said, I completely disagree with her, but you aren't being quite fair to her, either.

Yes. Obama also promised to close Gitmo, wind down the war, clean up corruption in Washington, and many other things that he has either not done or done the opposite of. As it happens, Obama's only energy-related proposals to date include higher taxes.
