Effing really? What is wrong with these preachy religious people? I thought God gave us free will, and the rapists are raping of their own free, sick will. So is it now he didn't and instead actually MAKES dirty old men have violent anal intercourse with their daughters/nieces, as well as innocent random women? Is this how God plans to convert the unwashed? Rape them? I thought that was Zeus' schtick ... oh, wait, that's probably where they got it. Christians, always stealing ideas from other religions, particularly the bad ones.

My lack of a vagina disqualifies me and all men from having final say on the matter, but my ultimately irrelevant opinion is if the support networks (state and family) were there to take care of all the additional unwanted children/parasites then I would support a ban on abortions EXCEPT in cases of rape/incest/health-of-mother(pregnancy will kill her)/viability-of-child(will be born with some horrid disease/deformation). Those are extraordinary circumstances never faced by most mothers-to-be and they and their doctors should be afforded the leeway in the eyes of the law to decide how best to go forward with the pregnancy without interference from sh*tbags like Sharron Angle or men in general (other than the father of the spawn).

Seeing as the support networks for so many already unwanted children are woefully inadequate as they are now, I support a woman's continued right to choose even though I think it's a wrong choice except in very particular cases. But again, my lack of a vagina makes my opinion moot.

What she said was that in her opinion, abortion in the case of rape/incest was not OK, because God could turn the result into a positive. An abortion doesn't erase a rape, after all.

With that said, I completely disagree with her, but you aren't being quite fair to her, either.
