Here's how argumentation is suppose to work Benny; you cite sources for arguments that YOU are making. You don't ask someone else to cite sources for your own points.

It can be interesting to see what others have commented about someone else 200 years ago. Beyond that, secondary sources are useful as a guide to find the primary sources. That's it.

1) Whether or not we're talking about citing secondary or primary sources, does not change my point about the fact that people are obligated to cite sources for their own argument.

2) You said "That's not original research," in response to my point about the need to cite your sources. Whether or not it is original research is not the point of my post.
