Didn't Alan Keyes abandon and disown his lesbian daughter? Seems like a swell guy.

Google shows a couple pages of quotes

"rah, Alan Keyes" here on Poly.

        I'm still sorting through them.

        9. You have to believe society is color-blind and growing up black in America doesn't diminish your opportunities, but you still won't vote for Alan Keyes.

I looked at that thread. I don't think Rah wrote that and even if he did, it was obviously tongue in cheek.

I guess you might not get the joke because of ones like this:

            16. You love Jesus and Jesus loves you and, by the way, Jesus shares your hatred for AIDS victims, homosexuals, and President Clinton.

lets leave aside the fact that I never claimed what you say I claimed. I said that anecdotally I believe some lower paid classifications do EXTREMELY well in the public sector. I believe the higher level you go then the less well they do.

Do I really need to pull out the salaries of VPs at oil companies or big multinationals to show they are many multiple of say a deputy minister. At the professional level I think things are more comparable

That was a cut and paste job quoting someone else. (but I'll score you one for that, I didn't even read that whole thing when I posted it.)

I looked at that thread. I don't think Rah wrote that and even if he did, it was obviously tongue in cheek.

I guess you might not get the joke because of ones like this:
Why does everyone assume I'm some humourless bastard? That quote was just priceless.

It stems from the fact that you've never said anything intentionally funny.

Nah. His lowest is still his deplorable rationalization on how the Catholic Church is "handling" the cases of pedophilia and abuse.

This thread is stupid, but it's not lower than the garbage he posts in the Catholic Church thread that's active right now.
