Quite possibly. For undergrad physics, probably not as good, but damn close.

It's certainly better for research-level physics, but that's not saying very much.

You might want to talk to my students. I had one who came into her course with 30, and left with an A after 4 months. Clearly I'm good at it and I know quite enough to help people get over the hump.

You try learning French when you have a hard enough time with English. My teachers were damn good. They got a deaf kid through IB diploma. Was number 1 out of graduating class of 420 by the time I was finished. I got to give them credit for how much they taught me in 2 years.

By the way, what high school you go to means very little.


And if youre talking about high schools giving degrees. Central High in Philly (NOT on that best high school list by the way) is the only one in the country that can confer bachelor's degrees.

This practice is still in effect, and graduates who meet the requirements are granted the Bachelor of Arts degree. Central also confers high school diplomas upon graduates who do not meet the requirement for a bachelor's degree.

But it's not even on the best high school list.

I did my extended essay on the effects of magnetic fields on star formation. I love astronomy. Can't get enough of it.

Never did any work of that sort when I got to university. Just the endless grind. I loved my astronomy courses, but the rest of the program took up so much of my time that I had no time to do the stuff I loved. So I left the program after I finished my second year.
