Who should I vote for on immigration?
My thoughts:
Replace a quota based system with a means based system, those who can afford to pay can immigrate into the UK.
No cap on immigration into the UK.
Deportation of all immigrants who are convicted of a crime over a 5 year probation period.
Acquisition of citizenship by passing a citizenship exam after a 5 year residency period, with no absences beyond 6 months total of the 5 years.
