I talked about how the stress that goes with being forced in the closet for enlisted gays in the military compounds the stress that they, like straight people in the military already deal with.
I can also add another source of stress that enlisted gays and lesbians face under DADT. Gays and lesbians in U.S. military cannot communicate with their spouses or partners who live back home, as openly and honestly as straight enlisted members can.
Surprised? Not.
Interestingly this is no different then it is with straight people and their girlfriends and boyfriends.
