To get this thread back on topic, let me say that:

A) I have no problem with co-ed patrolling. An officer is an officer and probably like the military, I could give a **** what the gender of my partner is as long as they are competent and not engaging in dangerous behavior.

B) At the academy, they teach a variation of Krav Maga, but even then when you get into a real street fight after running a few blocks after a suspect, you probably aren't going to remember **** except how to tackle and some basic moves that you've had drilled into your head.
