I think they're keeping her because she makes so little and she's not on their health insurance. They told me they'd keep me updated on the projects in the pipeline and if anything came up they'd let me know. I told them I would only do it on a contact basis since I am looking for something else anyway.
I have to go back in Monday to close out my work, but at least I can watch the Stanford game. Today is the last day to qualify for subsidized COBRA as well, so that's nice.
Wifey is pissed though, especially since I showed up at home with beer. Hey! I just got canned!Comment

I did get 2 job leads this week, both look promising. 1 local and 1 in Spokane WA. The local one would be nice for obvious reasons, but the job isn't really what I would want (or so I think). The Spokane one would be perfect, but I screwed up my first impression; wrong email on my cover letter. They hiring manager spent 2 weeks tracking me down though, so that means he likes my resume.Comment
