Stuff like that. Changing gender of God to either /him to /her or avoiding it all together.

I believe it was the "New Living Translation".
How do you know that her partner wasn't a man?
The only "gender change" in those passages is that the word "people" was exchanged for the word "man". That's perhaps gender neutral, but not "feminised". I don't see anywhere in that passage where the gender of God was changed. It referred to God in the plural, perhaps meaning to refer to the angels as well, but other versions, such as the NIV, NASV, and KJV do so as well. Look it up.
IIRC the Roman Catholic Church uses the NIV or the NASV?
AFAIK the NLT is not the official version used by the Church of Canada. I could be wrong. It's certainly not the official version used in the Episcopal Church. Funny you should mention it though. I attended a Roman Catholic wedding where the priest used the NLT.

Ben, you just have the RC tradition stating what you believe. However, if you look at the traditions of other churches, which come from the same roots but lacked contact for a few generations, you find that they are very different.

In this case, the Mar Thomas church was very democratic.

I use the NIV, out of habit and familiarity although it doesn't contain the deuterocanonical books. Catholics tend to use the New Jerusalem Bible, or the Douay-Rheims, but I have heard the Vatican is doing a new English translation. Of the two, I prefer Douay-Rheims which is what I do when I quote (rarely) from the books not in the NIV. It's been years I think since that topic has come up.

Well I have seen it used as well in other parishes, including one I used to attend at UBC. The movement towards inclusive language is by no means restricted to the anglican family of churches.

As for that passage, NIV renders gender of God masculine, and refers to man.

How have I misrepresented them? They are Catholic no more or less than me. They have apostolic succession through Apostle Thomas.

They have their own rite apart from the Latin rite. They are still under the authority of the pope, even as they are separate from the Latin heirarchy of the bishops in India.

The Mar Thomas Church is in communion with the Anglican Communion and the Independent Syrian Church. It's also a member of the World Council of Churches.
