    • Shut up, Thoth.

I'm listening to Rod Stewart and skipping your post.

          That's your loss, not mine.

Listening to Rod Stewart is not a loss. And I skimmed your thing. Yeah. I've gained by not listening to it. Gained by the glory of Rod Stewart

Rod Stewart is loved by white trash and gay men.

Which demographic do you fit in to?

Did I say I love Rod Stewart? I said no such thing. He's alright. Better than your music any day. Do I have Rod Stewart albums? No. Do I have any of his songs on my MP3 player? No.

                    • This might not be 'music' per se but curious about thoughts here on another aspect of rap that is non-existent in other forms of music... the battle rap.

This is nothing special. I just saw it because I was in a chat on rapmusic.com where the one guy on this (D Lor) was in the room. It's long but I set it to start at the beginning of the battle. Just listen a bit and tell me what yall think.

I just don't see how a lack of appreciation for rap can be so prevalent here. The level of cleverness and wordplay in rap far exceeds anything in any other form of lyrical music.
