And yet, that's all you do.

BTW, YHWH doesn't love either of us. In order to do so, YHWH would need to be something more than a figment of your imagination.
Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

Wow, I totally made YHWH up.

You know, I've never seen Lenin. I've never seen Marx, I've never seen Stalin, and I've never seen Mao.

The only way I know that they existed is through books that tell me about them.

Are they figments of my imagination too?

I've seen photos of Lenin, Marx, etc. Show me a photo of YHWH.

            There you go.

I painted that one all by myself.

Why should abstinence and sex education programs contraception programs be mutually exclusive anyway?

Make sure all kids have the essential information they need about sex, for whenever they need it be that when they are married or whenever. If people have that information and then want to make an abstinence pledge due to religion, that's up to them.

Ben accepts that people are weak and might fail in their absintence pledge, so make sure that if that does happen they have the essential information about, pregnancy, STDs, contraception etc that they need. Simple.

Because fundies don't like it? I think both should be taught. But teaching about how condoms prevent STDs & pregnancy is right out for some (which is strange because plenty of Protestant denominations believe birth control is ok... just after marriage).

You can teach about the Nazis without expecting the kids to go out and commit genocide.

They are as exclusive as 'Using sex related words' and 'not using sex related words'.

Huh? No they aren't. My point is that you can have an extensive sex education program and still have kids taking an abstinence pledge.

I assume abstinence programs have to at least have enough sex education to explain what it is you have to abstain from right? Actually, probably not.

I was gonna discuss the scientific evidence (and lack of it) in the OP but thankfully remembered my vow to not discuss science on the web with non-scientists.

Well, the non-scientists you'd be discussing the evidence with are at the CDC, AAP, WHO, DHHS, the New England Journal of Medicine, and the American Journal of Public Health, so take it up with them if you've got an issue.
