Happy are you that Wilson decided to call Obama a liar in the middle of his speech??

First, Wilson's interruption was unspeakably rude.



Second, Wilson's charge of "A Lie!!" has no foundation in fact:

SEC. 246. NO FEDERAL PAYMENT FOR UNDOCUMENTED
ALIENS.
Nothing in this subtitle shall allow Federal payments
for affordability credits on behalf of individuals who are
not lawfully present in the United States.

It took me about 20 minutes to find this section. Too bad Congressman Wilson couldn't invest the same amount of time.

The man should be thrown out of Congress for lacking basic courtesy but instead partisan hacks will fill his coffers with money and more people will act so outrageously in order to get the same cash. No, but it's generally expected that you're supposed to treat public speakers with a modicum of respect. Doing otherwise disrupts public discourse, which is especially bad for something so important as the nation's healthcare system. Also, if you're a Congressperson, you're supposed to be an elected represenative with a duty to legislate, and not a common heckler. Having a sense of perspective is important. With that in mind, though, it's important to have the perspective to realize that *****ing about a guy being dumb is really thoroughly inconsequential and not worth the ones and zeros it takes to discuss it.
