Ben we 'pay' for all kinds of things that we personally may not agree with. For instance a relatively rich guy gets drunk and beats himself to a pulp while drunk driving. Pacifists see their money used to support the military. heck I'm betting that Harpers attempt to end gay marriage had costs which were partly paid for by gay married taxpayers. Suck it up

Where does it say in our Charter that abortions must be paid for? I don't see it and until it's there, I'm not paying for it.

Yup -- even if they don't intend a coalition he can play that card since well, they formed a coalition before

I agree. From what I see, Layton made no deal with Harper-- all he did was support legislation that he saw as good for Canadians. So the NDP can say they were trying to make government work and not opposing the CPC for the sake of opposing them

This is pretty pathetic. Tories keep inching higher in the polls, Liberals keep falling.

Tories at 41%, Liberals at 28%.
