2000 wasn't the best year I've seen for the Riders, I enjoyed 2007 a lot more! I guess given the way I phrased that may have seemed kind of odd, it isn't at all my most favourite season at all. It was more just saying that I'm not really a 'fairweather' fan. I don't watch football to cheer for the winning team, however I'm not a diehard in the sense that I'll go to every game even if the team does terrible, I watch football games to be entertained. 2000, while being a terrible season from the win/loss standpoint, was really entertaining. Under Burris we had a high octane offense and at most games I felt entertained. We had a pretty terrible defence too though. This season, I haven't really felt entertained at all.

Then again, I was also 13 - 14 during that season, and it may be that I'm just looking back on it more fondly because it was when I started getting my own independence, going to games with friends instead of parents, that type of stuff.
