The happy, fluffy, Black Panthers didn't go out of their way to kill white people. When they did get involved in shoot outs, nearly always, they were the ones attacked. Militant self-defense is not what the KKK does.

My point was that the Black Panthers are not viewed as being a good and positive African-American group by the media, which kind of disproves VJ's ignorant point.

That said, I'm not going to argue the specifics of the Black Panther's actions and ideology with you. You're far too biased to be informative on the issue.

White "advocacy" groups are generally violent because there's not much for them to advocate for. We already have all the civil rights--have for centuries. We get fair hearings in court, we don't get pulled over especially often, and rarely do TV shows or movies make genuinely racist remarks or caricatures about us. Mostly it's just "gee those honkies can't dance very well, hurr hurr hurr." So the KKK et al are mostly concerned not with looking after white interests but with stomping on non-white interests. Also opposing miscegenation and trying to get racist propaganda in schools.

Now, there are occasional affirmative action injustices, but those are generally not systemic. It'd be nice if there were a group formed to oppose solely that nonsense, but I can't think of one.

Name a white group that is not explicitly a terrorist organization, and then you might have a point.

Some black groups are accepted, such as the NAACP, and some are not, like the Black Panthers.

The only white group that I know of, the KKK, is not looked kindly upon by society, for the same reason that the Black Panthers and other militant minority rights groups are not looked upon kindly by society.
