Gay pedophiles abuse far out of proportion to their percentage of the population, and are attracted to boys. Pedophiles very rarely abuse in isolation, and very rarely will target both girls and boys.

These facts aren't difficult. 'Mature' sexualities assume that those who obtain sexual gratification from children cannot also do so with adults, which is also something we know is not true. Therefore it makes no sense to distinguish between the two.
