I'd hope Harper would spend his time being a government leader more than reading about incredibly ridiculous religious practices. We vote for him to run the country, and he should do that.

No one ever told me that. The onus should not be on the guests to instantly know the protocol of arcane, random, and ridiculous rituals. The onus should've been on a Church representative to explain the procedure.
