the overal facial structure is maskulin yet feminin at the sametime. the eyebrows are just in the right position to tell you absolutly nothing. its like they are disjointed from the rest of the face. the colour scheme is friendly and bright but it makes the shadows in his face darker.

I wasn't the one running around the country using the word numerous times and making a big deal about it. Sorry If I'm not as eager to swallow so easily what he dishes out as you seem to be I'm of the older persuasion that there should be constant doubt and speculation as to the intention of politicians despite what card they carry in their pocket.

IIRC the majority of the spending for so called "shovel ready" projects is timed to hit during the spring/summer of 2010. This is intended to give the Democrats a strong position going into the mid-term elections. The problem then will be, will the states have the money for their end of the projects. Seeing what is happening in many states, I'd say it is doubtful without findng new revenue.

Infrastructure probably doesn't have the same stimulative effect it did back in the thirties. Back then, when you built a road you hired a thousand guys with shovels for years.

Now, you just hire fifty guys with an asphalt eater and a bunch of dump trucks. Most of the money goes to capital instead of labor, which is exactly where we don't need it.

There are many rules in place for any project trying to get Federal funding of any sort, you know, to prevent fraud and waste. It takes months for applications to be filled out, reviewed, approved, and then for the money to actually be allocated and spent. Money will actually begin rolling out in the couple of next months for a lot of projects. The big metric for actual effectiveness is the employment picture through the fall and into the Winter, when dollars will actually be getting spent.

Its strange when Wiggy makes a point so simple yet so correct while you and the others continue to act like utter imbeciles.

There was no expectation on anyones part within government that these dollars were going to be getting spent in the Spring. The question is what happens when the stimulus is ACTUALLY SPENT. If after hundreds of billions get spent the job market fails to bottom out and begin a slow recovery THEN you can claim a failure. Before that you are just being a douche.
